REQUEST INFORMATION

REQUIREMENTS:
(Electronic signature and online submission of all materials and payments are accepted)

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION TO THE FESTIVAL:
Every applicant must submit an application, a recording (non-returnable) exhibiting their level of playing, and a non-refundable application fee of $100 USD. The application will be processed immediately. You are then required to make a $300 USD deposit due two weeks (14 days) upon acceptance, to reserve a spot at the festival. The remaining fees are due by March 20, 2012 (payment in full by March 1, 2012 is eligible for a 10% discount).

RECORDING REQUIREMENTS:
- It should be made on the instrument for which you are applying.
- It should contain two contrasting pieces.
- It should be no longer than 30 minutes.
- Recording may be video or audio and sent in any format including email.

DEADLINES:
- February 1, 2012 EXTENDED:
Application with $160 nonrefundable application fee
(includes $60 late fee).
- 2 weeks upon acceptance:
A $300 deposit to reserve a spot at the festival.
- March 20, 2012:
Remaining fees due.

Students who wish to attend more than one festival
are eligible for:

- 10% off a 2nd festival.

Discounts apply only to student tuition.
Above amounts are included in the tuition except $60 late fee
and any processing fees/surcharges/taxes incurred.

CANCELLATION FEES:
- Cancellation fees may apply, depending on cancellation date.
- Deposit fee will not be refundable after March 1, 2012.
- Remaining fees will not be refundable after April 10, 2012.

TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS:
A complimentary shuttle service* will be provided to and from Nuremberg Airport at the beginning and end of the festival: On July 31, 2012 the shuttle to Sulzbach-Rosenberg will depart at 12:00pm/noon from Nuremberg airport. For one half-hour prior to the shuttle’s departure, beginning at 11:30am, a festival representative will be at the gate at Nuremberg Airport to greet festival participants and guide them to the shuttle.

The last concert of the festival will take place on the evening of August 11, 2012. On August 12, 2012 the shuttle will depart from Sulzbach-Rosenberg at 8:00am for Nuremberg Airport. (Approximate travel time from Sulzbach-Rosenberg to the Airport is 45 minutes).

*Please note: If unable to meet the arrival and departure times of the shuttle service, participants of the festival are responsible for their own transportation and the costs incurred.

Double room: $1,775.00 USD for 12 nights or $148.00 USD per night
Single room: $1,975.00 USD for 12 nights or $165.00 USD per night

Includes:
Room/board, excursions and free admission to performances provided by the festival.
