REQUIREMENTS:

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION TO THE FESTIVAL:
Every applicant must submit an application, a recording
exhibiting their level of playing, and a non-refundable application fee of $160 USD. The application will be processed immediately. You are then required to make a $300 USD deposit due upon acceptance to reserve a spot at the festival. The remaining fees are due by March 20, 2010 (still accepting applications).

RECORDING REQUIREMENTS:
- It should be made on the instrument for which you are applying.
- It should contain two contrasting pieces.
- It should be no longer than 30 minutes.
- Recording may be video or audio and sent in any format including email.

DEADLINES:
- ~~February 1~~, Extended:
Application with $160 nonrefundable application fee.
- Upon acceptance:
A $300 deposit to reserve a spot at the festival.
- March 20, 2010:
Remaining fees due.
All fees except $60 are included in the tuition.

Students who wish to attend more than one festival
are eligible for:
- 10% off a 2nd festival.

CANCELLATION FEES:
- Cancellation fees may apply, depending on cancellation date.
- Deposit fee will not be refundable after March 1, 2010.
- Remaining fees will not be refundable after April 10, 2010.

TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS:
A complimentary shuttle service* will be provided to and from Nuremberg Airport at the beginning and end of the festival: On August 3, 2010 the shuttle to Sulzbach-Rosenberg will depart at 12:00pm/noon from Nuremberg airport. For one half-hour prior to the shuttle’s departure, beginning at 11:30am, a festival representative will be at the gate at Nuremberg Airport to greet festival participants and guide them to the shuttle.

The last concert of the festival will take place on the evening of August 14, 2010. On August 15, 2010 the shuttle will depart from Sulzbach-Rosenberg at 8:00am for Nuremberg Airport. (Approximate travel time from Sulzbach-Rosenberg to the Airport is 45 minutes).

*Please note: If unable to meet the arrival and departure times of the shuttle service, participants of the festival are responsible for their own transportation and the costs incurred.

OTHER RULES/REQUIREMENTS:

The festival will not be responsible for individual Medical coverage and expenses or for the supervision of students. Students must submit proof of health insurance.
A parent or guardian may wish to accompany students under 18 years of age.
Students are responsible for making their own travel arrangements.
Incase of a teacher's unavailability, the Festival reserves the right to reassign students to a different teacher.
Not all students will be assigned to the orchestra. The festival will be making the assignment decisions.

THE PRICE 2010:

Double room, $2,450.00 USD

Single room, $2,650.00 USD
Single rooms are subject to availability

Includes:
Room/board and excursions provided by the festival.

Special rates PER parent/guest apply:
Double room: $1,700.00 USD for 12 nights or $142.00 USD per night
Single room: $1,900.00 USD for 12 nights or $158.00 USD per night

Includes:
Tuition, room/board, excursions and free admission to performances provided by the festival.
