This research and curriculum writing has resulted in more than 70 performances of interdisciplinary workshops based on national standards and using modern repertoire to engage students in Cincinnati Public Schools and has benefited over 1,000 K-12 students in the last three years. She has also implemented a new initiative to commission new works based in STEAM curriculum and introducing scientific, mathematical, engineering, or technology based concepts through music in high school classrooms. Andrea would like to thank the Ben Carlson Berne Foundation for their support of her work as Community Engagement and Education Manager with concert:nova and looks forward to seeing the reach of these programs grow in years to come.
